DELIVERY AREAS AND CHARGES
We deliver to England, Wales and mainland Scotland using a next day delivery courier service.
A delivery charge of £11.50 will be applied to all orders.
We send a maximum of 5 trees per consignment. If you would like to order 6 trees or more, please contact us for a bespoke quote as we may be able to offer you a better price for larger orders.
We do not currently offer delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or outside the UK. Please refer to our UK remote area exclusion list for more details.
RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
Delivery will usually take place on weekdays during normal business hours. All orders are sent as 'Leave Safe'. Please ensure you provide details about where you would like your delivery left just in case you are out or alternatively, please indicate if you would prefer your order not to be left unattended.
After placing your order you will receive an email confirmation. We will then notify you by email when we have despatched your order and you will receive tracking details directly from our courier.
Our usual despatch days are Tuesday and Thursday:
• Tuesdays – all orders received before 10am on a Tuesday, will be despatched on Tuesday for next day delivery
• Thursdays – all orders received before 10am on a Thursday, will be despatched on Thursday for next day delivery
Please note that because our trees are living plants, the nursery can be affected by restrictions of the climate, which can delay things. For example, if the UK suffers a severe cold spell of weather, we may need to take the decision to delay sending out the trees (especially if they are citrus), until conditions improve. This ensures your trees arrive happy and in the very best of health.
The trees are perfectly safe inside the box for up to 5 days, but of course unpacking the tree as soon as you can is important. Try to stand the box upright so that the branches and shoots are not crushed. If your order is a citrus variety, the box should be unpacked as soon as possible and the tree placed in a sunlit spot, otherwise leaf fall can occur.
BANK HOLIDAYS
If your tree is despatched on a Thursday and a bank holiday falls on the Friday, your delivery will arrive on the Saturday.
PACKAGING
All of our trees are packed in 3 ply cardboard boxes, stapled and taped. You will receive a care leaflet and a packing note in an envelope within the box. For your reference, Plant Passport information will be printed on the plant label. We use a bamboo cane to ensure the pot does not move and remains as secure as possible during its journey from us to you.
