Those trees that are in pots will be perfectly ok in the nursery pot for six months, as long as they are properly watered and fed. You should always plant into a larger pot as soon as you can though.

If the tree is bare rooted, then leave the packing (including the box) around the tree and place it in an unheated building such as a shed or garage. During the winter months the tree will be fine for three weeks . In the spring, you should only keep it out of the soil for 5 days. an answer

That very much depends upon the size of pot and the weather. During the winter (as a rule of thumb), plants need no watering as the rain does it for you. In very dry winter periods, (especially if it is windy), soils can dry out but this will not affect the deciduous trees. If you have citrus, then the leaves will start to droop and you will know to give a small amount. Try one litre to begin with. Do NOT OVER WATER. In the spring and summer, the trees will start to transpire and they can use a lot in very warm weather. We suggest that you try to water once every 5 days and give 2 litres in the spring and up to 5 litres in the high summer. Always err on the side of dryness.

Trees in pots have a small amount of soil proportionate to their roots to absorb plant food, so special attention should be given to their feeding. Our suggestion is to feed regularly and often. In the Spring (as soon as the buds burst out), give a feed of slow release fertiliser. Four weeks after (when the leaves are showing), then give a folia feed. Four weeks after that, give another slow release fertiliser application to the soil and then repeat every four weeks until late August. Folia feed can be given during the summer at every two weeks. DO NOT FEED IN THE WINTER MONTHS.

The house is about the worst place you should bring your fruit tree into. They are not house plants. Deciduous trees (those that lose their leaves in the Autumn) are perfectly ok in temperatures down to -10c, which is very rare in the UK. If you have citrus trees, then these do need protection in temperatures below freezing. A wooden shed gives more than adequate protection, as will a garage, or you can buy large material covers which are very good too. As soon as the temperature is above freezing though you MUST bring them out into the day light.
